Kenyadia was born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant. Growing up, she always wanted to become a pediatrician but when she got her first job as substitute teacher at a daycare, her passion for working with children in the education setting blossomed. Working with those children really warmed her heart and made her think on how she can help her sister who is diagnosed with Autism. A few years after that she became a Community Habitation Specialist for her sister through the organization New York Families for Autistic Children. Kenyadia enjoy baking and event coordinating during her spare time. She started out at Compass as a Paraprofessional in the 3rd grade and a Compass parent! She is pleased to be part of the Compass community for another year to continue to share her love and care for children!
